Phase 1 - Early Recovery
Objective: To raise and collect funds for disaster relief and recovery support in Jamaica
Duration: Three (3) weeks
Target: USD $10,000.00- The account will remain open to receive funds until December 1, 2025.
Roll Out Activities
- Conduct a series of fundraisers and donation drives coordinated by the Relief Committee.
- All monetary donations shall be deposited into a centralized Red Cross account designated for this initiative.
- At the conclusion of the three-week fundraising period, the total funds collected shall be publicly announced.
- The collected funds shall be distributed to the following organizations and agencies:
- The Jamaica Red Cross
- The Rotaract Club of Jamaica
- The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Jamaica
- The Government of Jamaica
Phase 2 – (In-Kind Contributions)
Objective: To coordinate the collection, storage, and shipment of relief items to Jamaica.
Phase 1 & 2 Will Run Concurrently
To Date: Approximately 200lbs of Non-Food Items (NFIs) have been collected
All collection, packing, and shipment activities will be managed under the supervision of the Anguilla Red Cross and members of the Coordination Committee.
- The Anguilla Red Cross will contribute tarpaulins, buckets, and shelter kits as part of the in-kind donation effort. Shipment of these items is scheduled for the end of November 2025.
- ADRA will receive donations at these times starting Monday November 10th,2025:
- 8:00 am -9:00am
- 12:00pm-1:00pm
- 4:30pm - 5:30pm
- Drop off location at Seventh Day Adventist Office Ground Floor Mason Complex, Stoney Ground.
- Shipment and Relief Items
- 1. Procedures and guidelines for individuals wishing to send personal items will be published on the Government of Anguilla’s official website.
- 2. Container space allocation will be determined and assigned based on the types and priority of relief items, as identified by the Coordination Committee.
Phase 3 (Procurement and Distribution Support)
Objective: To utilize additional funds raised for the targeted purchase and shipment of essential items.
- Additional funding will be used to purchase items in Miami from funds raised by the Coordination committee.
- Civil Society will lead to coordinating and shipping items for individual family members. They will be guided by Jamaica’s procedures.
- Containers will include two to three specific categories of essential items, selected according to the needs list provided by the Jamaica Association.
- The Coordination Committee will be responsible for overseeing procurement, shipping logistics, and confirmation of receipt and distribution in Jamaica.
