General Post Office Soft Launches Website

December 1st, 2009 the General Post Office will conducted a soft launch of its newly constructed website, which is still in the testing phase. (Domain Name: www.aps.ai).  The information on the Wild Flower release is also available on this website.  A soft release is in order at this time to allow for feedback from our customers and users which would give us time to make the relevant changes before we officially launch our website.  The website will not only provide information on our products and services available at the Post Office, but can also be used for customer inquiries; where persons can go online and track packages that were shipped using the Anguilla Postal Services such as EMS i.e. our Express Mail Service, Registered Mail Service and Parcel Post Service. Customers would also be able to email inquiries pertaining to Home Shopping packages whether shipped by ocean or air. 

The introduction of the new website is not only a plus for the Post Office , but is in keeping with the pace of modern technology and also provides convenience to our customers by allowing them to track and trace their own packages to their final destinations.  Likewise, it will also reduce the number of telephone calls and time that officers have to spend on the phone responding to customer inquiries. The management and staff are constantly trying to find new ways to make it easier to serve you our valued customers.
