The Late Watkins Emanuel Hodge Is Laid In State

A State Ceremony of remembrance in honour of the late Mr. Watkins Emanuel Hodge who served in the House of Assembly from 1980-1981 will take place at the Atlin Noraldo Harrigan Building at 10:00am on Friday, 2nd March, 2007.

 

All members of the House of Assembly as well as specially invited guests, and family members of the late Mr. Watkins E. Hodge are expected to be in attendance.  Invited Guests are asked to be seated by 9:45am.  The late Mr. Hodge will be briefly eulogized by the Honourable Chief Minister Osbourne B. Fleming, the Honourable Hubert Hughes, and a family member.

 

The ceremony will culminate with Members of the House filing past the casket followed by family members and other invited guests.  Thereafter the body will lie in State until 6:00pm.  Members of the public who wish to file past the casket following the official ceremony will have an opportunity to do so.
