PLANNING APPLICATIONS

·          NB. This permission does not in any way constitute a waiver of the need to obtain building permission for this proposed development and any other necessary Government licenses and or permits that may be required.  The applicant is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses that may be required.

 

 

2002/160 Retail & Office, The Valley (48814 B 87) Dennis Lloyd

Approved with the following conditions:

i.                     The building shall not be occupied until the on site accesses (road; etc.) and parking lots have been paved with concrete, asphalt or any other suitable hard surface approved by the Chief Engineer of the Department of Infrastructure.

ii.                   All matters relating to storm water drainage including the layout and design of the disposal system shall be carried out in accordance with specifications approved by the Chief Engineer of the Department of Infrastructure and completed to his satisfaction prior to the occupation of any unit being erected on the land in accordance with the terms of this permission.

 

 

2002/192 Subdivision, West End (28010 B 194) Alfred & Kathleen Richardson

Refused for the following reason:

i.                     The proposed right of way is only 10ft wide along the northern boundary line of lot 3 instead of the 25ft width required by the Land Development Control Committee.

ii.                   The area of land proposed to be subdivided would result in substantial residential development.  The 10ft wide right of way cannot adequately service the proposed area of land and it will be detrimental to the residential amenity of the area.

 

2002/242 Amendment, Cul-de-Sac (28309 B 48) Callaloo Resort

Refused for the following reason:

The setbacks of the proposed decks from the vegetation line is only thirty (30) feet and  fifty-two (52) feet   instead of  seventy-five (75) feet which is the minimum distance required by the Land Development Control Committee.
