2010 GENERAL ELECTION: POLLING STATIONS

January 18th, 2010

All voters in the upcoming general election are advised to take note of the location of the polling stations in their respective electoral districts and be guided accordingly. The electoral districts and their polling stations, which will be clearly marked by large signs, are as follows:

Island Harbour (District No. 1)

Polling will take place at the Vivien Vanterpool Primary School where there will be three polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – H will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters I – R will vote in Polling Station 2.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters S – Z will vote in Polling Station 3.
Sandy Hill (District No. 2)

Polling will take place at the Morris Vanterpool Primary School where there will be two polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – H will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters I – Z will vote in Polling Station 2.

Valley North (District No. 3)

Polling will take place at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School Campus A where there will be four polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – F will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters G – K will vote in Polling Station 2.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters L – R will vote in Polling Station 3.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters S – Z will vote in Polling Station 4.

Valley South (District No. 4)

Polling will take place at the Valley Primary School where there will be four polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – D will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters E – H will vote in Polling Station 2.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters I – Q will vote in Polling Station 3.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters R – Z will vote in Polling Station 4.

Road North (District No. 5)

Polling will take place at the Bethel Methodist Church Hall where there will be two polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – H will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters I – Z will vote in Polling Station 2.

Road South (District No. 6)

Polling will take place at the Adrian T. Hazell Primary School where there will be three polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – D will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters E – M will vote in Polling Station 2.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters N – Z will vote in Polling Station 3.

West End (District No. 7)

Polling will take place at the Alwyn Allison Primary School where there will be two polling stations:

  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters A – I will vote in Polling Station 1.
  • All persons whose surnames begin with letters J – Z will vote in Polling Station 2.
