HIGHLIGHTS COURSE #1 - Introduction to Anguilla's Environmental Management Policies 1.0 This course focuses on local policy documents, UK bilateral agreements, OECS and other international commitment and MEA's. These have all guided action, funding and legislation development on the environment, over the last six years. Look for 1.2 and 1.4 Distance courses online, field training and collaboration, presentations to students and groups. Encouraging action at the community level supporting sustained or continued progress. Introduction to the department of environment (DOE)  At five years plus and running, the department continues to use  inclusive multilateral policies such as the UK White Paper for  Progress and Prosperity, the OECS based National Environmental  Management Strategies as well as DRAFT local bills such as the  Environmental Protection Act, to guide its monitoring, restoration,  innovation and awareness efforts.
