Persons employed in the Public Service on temporary terms, other than on contract, for at least five years continuously and who have obtained permanent resident status are eligible for favourable consideration to be confirmed to the permanent establishment. The appointment of such persons remains subject to the recommendation of the Public Service Commission and the approval of the Governor.
Persons employed in the Public Service who are married to belongers of Anguilla will be eligible for favourable consideration to be confirmed to the permanent establishment, without having to serve for at least five years continuously. The appointment of such persons will remain subject to the recommendation of the Public Service Commission and the approval of the Governor.
